School Assembly

School Assembly was held on 01 December 2017 at the Auditorium, Palada Campus.

The following students were felicitated for their outstanding performance:

Ø Aditya Bhavesh Vaghasia was awarded Gold in Rifle Shooting in the Tamilnadu State Inter School Competition.

Ø  Aditya Singh Grade IX represented Tamilnadu state Sub Junior Basketball team in the   National Basketball Championship held at Government Stadium, Nagaur Dt, Rajasthan from October 08, 2017 to October 14, 2017.

Ø  The Inter School Hockey Tournament was held at Hebron School from Nov 15, 2017 to Nov 18, 2017 under the aegis of HOCKEY NILGIRIS ASSOCIATION, the GSIS Under-15 team and Under 17 team won the tournament. Aaryan Luke Mehra was awarded the Best Player of the Tournament in the U-17 category.

Ø  In the One day Inter School Basketball Tournament held at GSIS on Novemeber 26, 2017, the GSIS Under-17 team defeated Crescent School and Won the Championship. Rohit Sur of IB II was awarded the Best Player of the Tournament and Sandeep Sudharshan of Grade 10 was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament

Ø  In the One day Inter School Soccer Tournament held at GSIS   on November 26, 2017, the GSIS Under-17 team was runner up. Praveen of Grade 10 was awarded Best Defender and Cibi Saran of IBI was awarded Best Striker trophy.

Ø  In the One day Inter School Soccer Tournament held at GSIS   on November 05, 2017, the GSIS Under-19 team was runner up. Mohammed Nafih Kalathil of IB II was awarded Best Mid fielder ; Samraat Sujoy Gupta of IB II was awarded Best Defender  ; Maanav Trehon of IB II was awarded Most Promising Player
