Good Shepherd Model United Nations -2018

Good Shepherd Model United Nations was held from 13 September 2018 to 15 September 2018 at Palada Campus.

The theme for this year is ‘Recognizing and Countering Devolution of Mankind’.

Lt Gen Amrik Singh AVSM, SM, Commandant, Defence Services Staff College, Wellington was the chief guest for the opening ceremony. He addressed the gathering and interacted with the students.

Sessions of various UN committees such as Disarmament and International Security (DISEC), Economic and Financial (ECOFIN) Social, Humanitarian and Cultural (SOCHUM), Special Political and Decolonization (SPECPOL), UN Human Rights Council (HRC), The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Environmental Commission (EC), Security Council (SC)  were conducted by the students.

Colonel Ajai Shukla (Retd), Journalist & Consulting Editor, Business Standard was the chief guest for the closing ceremony.
