Investiture Ceremony- Junior School



 The Investiture Ceremony for the Junior School students was held on 26 August 2018 at the Fern hill Campus.

Mrs. Rekha Ramesh (Mother of Rhea Ramesh – HEAD GIRL) and Mrs. Sreepriya Srinivasan (Mother of Aaditya Nair – HEAD BOY) were the chief guests of the function.

This ceremony was to invest responsibilities of Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captain, Games Captain, and Prefects for the year 2018.20 Students were invested with badges of ranks during the ceremony.

The event was witnessed by a large number of parents of the students of  Junior campus.

Inauguration of Dr. P. C. Thomas Initiative Trust



 


Dr. P. C. Thomas Initiative Trust was established and inaugurated on 24 August 2018 at the Palada Campus Auditorium.
Mr. N. Ram, Chairman, The Hindu Group of Publications and Mrs. Mariam Ram, Managing Director, TNQ Technologies were the Chief Guests for the function.
 The details of the Patrons and trustees of this Trust are as follows

1.    Honourable Justice M.N. Venkatachaliah, Former Chief Justice of India
2.    Prof M.S. Swaminathan, Chairman, M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation and eminent Agriculture Scientist.

The Trust was constituted with the objective of carrying out a number of activities connected with school education and to bring about awareness on a system based education to the children in the Nilgiris. The Trust will also focus on other socio-economic issues for the upliftment of the lesser privileged children of the Nilgiris.

Independence Day -2018




India’s 72nd Independence Day was celebrated on 15 August 2018 at the Auditorium in the Palada Campus.

The chief guest Smt. Nirupama Rao, Former Foreign Secretary and Former Ambassador of India hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering.

Patriotic songs were sung by the students.

The South Asian Music Workshop under the aegis of the South Asian Symphony Foundation of India concluded on 15 August 2018 with a Grand Finale in the Auditorium at the Palada Campus.
