Back 2 Roots - 2011

The old students of Good Shepherd International School came together from 22 to 24 April 2011 at the Fernhill and Palada campus. The old students association is called as Old Shepherdians' Association and the annual get together is Back 2 Roots.

The three days was full of memories and meeting with old classmates, teachers and other staff. The alumni met for a formal Annual General Body Meeting, School Assembly and then congregated for fun-filled events like Treasure Hunt, Antakshri and a Basketball Match between current students and old students.

The dinner at Fernhills Palace was also well attended.

The Annual Inter House Athletic Meet

The Annual Inter House Athletic Meet - 14 April 2011

The Annual Inter House Athletic Meet was held in the Open-Air Stadium, Palada campus on Thursday, 14 April 2011. The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. Lancelot J Fuller, Deputy Secretary, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

The students participated enthusiastically in the final sprint events and relay events. Four new meet records were established. The overall championship trophy was won by Spring House. Selected students also put up a display of mountaineering skills to include jumaring, rappelling and rope traverse for the audience.

Musical Evening

Musical Evening - 13 April 2011

A Musical Evening was held at the School Auditorium, Palada campus on Wednesday, 13 April 2011. The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. Lancelot J Fuller, Deputy Secretary, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

The repertoire of the events consisted of choirs of all classes, Indian music renditions, Djembe (African) drums recital, solo saxophone and flute recitals, symphony consisting of brass instruments and a Bharat Natyam performance.
